Graphic novels are so much fun to work on. Anyone that knows me knows that I have a weakness for Victoriana. Give me anything Victorian and I may swoon! I have no idea why it is the historical era that has so captured my imagination over the years. I really love incorporating botanical elements and birds in my work. I have been so inspired by the beautiful wildflowers around the cottage in the mountains where I am spending the rest of spring and summer this year. This spread was from a piece I did for MATS Bootcamp 2019.
I think you can tell that I am pretty crazy about birds and flowers.
